New Cascada - What Hurts The Most
From Rascal Flats to Carrie Underwood to Cascada!
Every time you turn on the radio there seems to be a new cover of a hit from another genre creeping it's way into our brains - but this time around it seems Cascada has done well.
I was skeptical to give this one a shot when it came across my desk - why? A bubble gum pop/euroband that is known for their chunky style production - attempting to step up their game and cover a world wide smash hit! I was wrong to some extent - but not totally wrong. Natalie Horler does a great job on the delivery to the best of her ability - doing what she can to make it her own - great job mastering your craft.

The debut from the newest American Idol will be hitting the store shelves today [November 20, 2007].
After a few listens to the album by winner Jordin Sparks, my first thoughts are: "It's a great way to get her feet wet". The album has been well crafted for the stage of her life, and the point in her career, but I hear bigger things for this artist. It's a nice blend of bubble gum pop, bouncy production, well placed vocal samples, and runs that will drive the little divas crazy.
The album starts out with her first single ‘Tattoo’ [written by the team being ‘Beautiful Liar’ from Shakira and Beyonce]. Hooks all the way with this one.
